Sand Lake Dermatology Centers offers Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) laser hair removal with the Palomar ICON laser. IPL laser hair removal treatments are quick (5-20 minutes depending on the body area treated) and comfortable.

Downtime: Minimal to mild post-procedure stinging, mild redness and swelling may last 1-2 days.
Maintenance: 8-12 treatments spaced 4-8 weeks apart are suggested. For facial areas, 12 treatments a year spaced 4 weeks apart are suggested. For body areas, 8-9 treatments a year spaced 6-8 weeks apart are suggested. Once treatment is completed, most patients need an annual maintenance treatment.
Cost: We offer single treatments as well as a 1 year package treatment. The 1 year package includes up to 12 treatments and is valid for one calendar year. No refunds on packages after the 6th treatment. Up until the 6th treatment, patient would have to pay single pricing amount for each treatment if refund requested. 10% Discount offered for additional areas purchased (discount applied to less expensive package).
