Lichen Planus

Lichen planus is a condition characterized by itchy flat pink to purple patches and bumps. Wrists and ankles are commonly affected areas but it can also involve the mouth, scalp, and other areas of skin. Many medications can trigger a lichen planus-like eruption. Treatment of lichen planus may include topical or systemic steroids, phototherapy, as well as systemic medications.
